How to Create an Account

• Sign Up with Email
  • Tap "Create Account" on the My Page
  • Select "Sign Up with email" on the Create Account screen
  • Enter your email address and password
  • Click the link sent to your inbox to verify your email
• Sign Up with Google
  • Tap "Create Account" on the My Page
  • Select "Sign Up with Google" on the Create Account screen
  • Allow the necessary permissions
  • Your account will be created
• Sign Up with Apple
  • Tap "Create Account" on the My Page
  • Select "Sign Up with Apple" on the Create Account screen
  • Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
  • Choose whether to share or hide your email address
  • Your account will be created
• Guest Mode
  • Access basic reading features without registration
  • Note: If you uninstall the app or change your device, your reading history, favorites, and purchase data may be lost

Signing in after registration is simple:

• Tap "Sign In" on the My Page screen
• Choose one of the options: Sign In with email/Google/Apple
• After signing in, you'll be taken directly to the My Page screen

Troubleshooting Registration Issues

For Web Version emaqi Users

• If you've been using the web version, please sign in with your account promptly after installing the app version
• Manga purchased or coins acquired as a guest user cannot be transferred to your web version account

Password Issues

• Passwords must meet certain character requirements
• If you forget your password, you can reset it from "My Page > Sign In > Sign In with email" by clicking "Forgot password?"

Registration Email Issues

• If you don't receive the registration email, check the following:
  • Verify that your email address was entered correctly
  • Check your spam/junk mail folder
  • Make sure your email provider allows emails from emaqi.com
  • Verification emails expire after 24 hours, so request a resend if necessary

Account Management

Updating Information

• Once set, date of birth and certain profile information cannot be changed without contacting support
• After signing in, you can change your email address and password from the "Account" menu on My Page
• Your sign-in method (Google, Apple, or email) cannot be changed without contacting support

Account Deletion

• After signing in, you can delete your account from the "Account" menu on My Page
• Once you delete your account, you will lose access to your purchased works
• Your account will become inaccessible 72 hours after initiating deletion
• You can cancel the deletion within this period
• If you delete an account used on multiple devices, you will lose access on all devices. Recovery is not possible after deletion under any circumstances

  • A: You can read without an account, but your reading history, favorites, and purchase data may be lost if you change devices or uninstall the app. We recommend creating an account to protect your data.
• Q: How do I reset my password?
  • A: From My Page, go to "Account > Change password," enter your email address, and follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox.
• Q: Will my purchases transfer if I change to a new device?
  • A: If you've already created an account on your old device, you can sign in with that account on your new device to transfer your purchase data. If you haven't created an account and haven't transferred your data, your purchase data won't transfer to a new device.
• Q: How do I delete my account?
  • A: Go to "Account > Delete Account" on My Page. Note that this action is permanent, and all data will be deleted.
• Q: Can I change my sign-in method?
  • A: Once you register with a specific method (email, Google, or Apple), you cannot change it yourself. If you need to change your sign-in method, please contact our support team.
